"Lose it All&nbsp;was one of those songs - it has such an incredible vocal, and I was buzzing to have the opportunity to capture it live."We were keen on a one-shot performance from the very start, and so wanted to set ourselves inside a stunning location that offered something visually beautiful at every turn, and we landed on Dean Valley Studios as the perfect fit - which also gave us some incredible acoustics for the audio recording.And because I always want to know the answer to this when I see a one-take...we went with Take 6."

"We wanted to portray this aspect of reality through a sense of metamorphosis where the more the video progresses the more Laurel’s reflection changes until she doesn’t recognise herself. To me, subtle moments like this feel quite close in representing that transient journey.[imgtoken data:1] "This psychological narrative is driven from Laurel’s subconscious as she escapes a party and ends up finding her power again. When we fall into Laurel’s dream world where time-freezes, all the girls have weapons to protect themselves in some way."This feels like quite a rebellious image that links to the contrast in the lyrics of being a ‘good girl’ and a ‘bad one’ as women are stereotypically told to be in line and sweet. So it was fun playing with that and showing female energy in an empowering way."

Blake Claridge directs a stirring promo for the long-awaited return of&nbsp;The Subways.&nbsp;The video takes place in a 70's-inspired bedroom - complete with wood panelling, graphic carpets and earthy colour palettes - with the group rocking out as the camera rotates and descends frenetically, perpetually transitioning from the top to the bottom of the room in a crane-style movement.&nbsp;"I guess I can refer to The Subways as long time collaborators now," says Blake Claridge.&nbsp;"It's been about fifteen years since our first video. Perhaps I am getting old now - I’m not!!""That was also the drive of the concept of the video. The track is certainly punk and youthful and I wanted to bring that to the piece without it feeling forced or out of touch, so kept things simple and allowed them to do what they do best."

We based ourselves in the stunning Hackney Round Chapel, and really wanted to showcase as much of the venue as possible, so favoured a lot of sweeping wides."The weather was on our side too - half the light coming through the window is film lighting, but the other half is natural sun beams. Cult pop-punk band Neck Deep retreat to their native South Wales (Rockfield Studios)&nbsp;for this old-school performance video, directed by Our World is Grey.It has become incredibly fashionable to mine ’90s rock performance videos as a reference. The improvisational approach of videos for Breeders, Pixies and early Weezer, as well as the cheap 16mm aesthetic of grunge, has become oddly aspirational. So it’s great to see a video that looks authentically like the post-rock videos it is channeling. And appropriate for a young, regional band carrying the DIY spirit of that era.DOPs Jamie Harding and Daniel Broadley&nbsp;deserve&nbsp;a special mention. Their period look, shot on 16mm and Super-8mm, gives the video a homegrown, lived-in quality.&nbsp;
