Katy Perry begins&nbsp;the futuristic promo for her collab with Alesso by murmuring into an old fashioned payphone:&nbsp;"I think it's time to give them everything they want."&nbsp;Cue energetic dance scenes, robot dogs, glossy industrial backdrops.Blending high-energy performance shots with beauty setups and an overarching playful vibe, this is the first ever collaboration between pop royalty Perry&nbsp;and Hannah Lux Davis,&nbsp;one of the foremost directors of pop video.&nbsp;The use of choppy editing and glitchy visual effects adds a raw, technological edge to the video, which sets the sleek, machine-tooled video for When I'm Gone slightly&nbsp;apart from other Perry visuals. But then, she is the featured vocalist on this one. It's Alesso's track, and it's undoubtedly a banger.

Two teen runaways escape their troubled childhood in Tim Mattia's video for Sam Hunt's Young Once.&nbsp;Traversing derelict backroads and expansive stretches of countryside, the pair fight to survive each day whilst making the most of their newfound freedom.&nbsp;DoP Justyn Moro utilises natural daylight and handheld camerawork to give the project an authentic feel. Getting up close in the action, the camera matches the frenetic, spontaneous movements of the couple, to give a sense of both adventure and fear of the unknown.&nbsp;A blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo from Sam Hunt in the café scene is an unintrusive addition, with the focus of the story staying on the teens and the promise of a new life.&nbsp;

Rock's king of darkness proves he can pivot and do something more akin to The Man In Black in Tim Mattia's video for God's Gonna Cut You Down.&nbsp;Following on from Manson's announcement earlier this year that he was to make an album more "Southern" in tone and heavily autobiographical in nature, this is a first look at the new material.&nbsp;Shot in monochrome, and featuring a typically offbeat and weird performance from Manson, the video contains various references to religious iconography, blurring the line between reality and the spiritual world. Tim Mattia's exceptional craft helps Manson transition to a place far outside of his usual comfort zone, by keeping strands of his iconic style in with the new elements.&nbsp;Another cracking cover version from Manson, who doesn't seem to be abandoning his shapeshifting ways anytime soon. And that's a very good thing indeed.&nbsp;

It's the morning after the night before... and trying to get ready for the day is quite a struggle for this bunch of super-hungover party animals, in Alex Southam's very enjoyable video for Roberto Surace's dance anthem JOYS.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;While an&nbsp;angry girlfriend is pounding the door and unleashing hell on her stupefied boyfriend, his crashed-out guests start to rise from where they fell, and find themselves conflicted - dancing back into their jeans, their&nbsp;bottom halves almost ready to get to the 9 to 5, while&nbsp;their top halves still trapped in last night's party.So we get a different type of drunk dancing... In a ludicrous and offbeat series of events, these guys&nbsp;don't really get anywhere, instead stumbling around the house in awkward unison until they all fall right back into place.Appropriately enough there are lots of joys to be had here&nbsp;- and the track is something&nbsp;of a banger too.

Bishop Briggs is a shaved-head warrior in a cinematic revenge story over two videos&nbsp;by Tim Mattia.The first video for Champion&nbsp;introduces Briggs in the middle of the desert, performing as her body rattles with anger. Driving up to a bar, she takes an armoured case from the trunk, and charges towards the venue. Immediately met by a couple of thugs, Bishop takes them out with the case, hardly batting an eyelid. She's on a mission, and she's royally pissed off.&nbsp;We are shown glimpses of a wedding, where Briggs is left at the aisle, in a striking homage to Kill Bill. The narrative hints at a variety of wrongdoing, but more importantly, we get to see the vengeful aftermath, culminating in a showdown between Briggs and her ex-beau in the bar.The narrative of&nbsp;Tattooed On My Heart&nbsp;delves further into the backstory, and replaces the frenetic fight scenes with emotional vignettes. We see Briggs and her fiancé&nbsp;in love, getting matching tattoos, and eventually ready to marry in a remote church. We are also shown Briggs returning to the church, with the mystery item she retrieved in the first video...Both&nbsp;beautifully shot by Justyn Moro, making great use of the abundant natural light and dusty colour palettes of the location, TIm Mattia has cemented his position as one of the pre-eminent music video directors working today with this impressive double-video project that complement each other impressively.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;[vidtoken data:0]&nbsp;&nbsp;

Silent Tapes explore the complexities of teenage parenthood - the chaos, the craziness, the anger, and also the love - in their engrossing video for Everyone You Know.Much as the song&nbsp;reveals its intent as it goes along, things are not quite as they may seem at the beginning of the video for She Don't Dance. But at its core are some terrific performances, particularly by the girl playing the young mother, who juggles from clinging on to her precious youth with the responsibilities of her toddler daughter - a bright as a button presence in the video herself.&nbsp;Their mates may be hard-smoking ruffians (and why always so much smoking?) but this&nbsp;family unit is by no means as dysfunctional as you might think.
