It&#39;s one of the most delicious ideas for a super-band ever, and FFS&nbsp;- the collaborative project&nbsp;between Franz Ferdinand &amp; Sparks - have recruited a supergroup of their own&nbsp;to create the first video. And Paris-based&nbsp;AB/CD/CD have made a characteristic FX-fired delight, with&nbsp;a series of loops that capture every member of group - all four Franzers, and the two Mael brothers - caught at various stages of delusion, as they attempt&nbsp;to seduce a beautiful girl.&nbsp;Its also closely aligned to the music, repeating itself in regular time, the chairs and characters change position every time the camera makes a circuit. The video&#39;s impact is in it&#39;s duplication; the video spins, the narrative unfolds, and&nbsp;ends in crescendo...

Manc indie electro-poppers Performance team up with Scott Altman for the rousing Unconsoled (out this week).
"The idea for the video was to shoot the band performing from their landing positions, after they've been blasted through the windscreens of their crashed car," explains Altman.
"With only 6 hours of July darkness to shoot, we had to move really fast to get all the shots I was after. To make matters worse I fell very ill a day before shooting and nearly missed it altogether.
"A big thanks to everyone involved and Aaron Bevan Bailey who did a great job standing in, until I arrived on set."

&quot;My Idea for this video all started with a sketch I did of a girl in a futuristic helmet&quot; explains Bevan-Bailey. &quot;I decided to see if I could build it. After buying an old police riot helmet from Portobello market, it took about two weeks of tinkering, sanding, sticking, painting and getting high off car filler fumes in the Mrs Grey Lab to sculpt what you see in the video.&quot;I owe a lot of the credit for the psychedelic visuals to my collaboration with the talented Scott Altman. He spent sleepless nights tweaking and rendering to turn the live elements I shot into the dazzling animation you see today&quot;.
