Charlie Robins directs a hypnotic promo for The Comet Is Coming.&nbsp;Unabashedly wild and atmospheric, the visual sees a small group of people driven insane by an enigmatic force, visualised in the form of a circle.&nbsp;Kept purposefully vague, Robins combines live action with elements of animation, demanding&nbsp;viewers to come to their own conclusion as to what's happening. One thing's for sure, it's not your everyday scenario.[imgtoken data:1]"This was always going to be pretty nuts," says Robins. "I had a great conversation with the band about the new album called Hyper Dimensional Expansion Beam. That name was enough of a jumping off point, and I just threw a load of crazy shit at it. It felt right to be weird and post-apocalyptic but also disorientating and fucked up. I wanted to make people feel a bit sick in all honesty. "The music is so crazy yet intricately put together, there is something beautifully chaotic about it which fit very well with some post and camera techniques I’ve been developing for a while."I worked very closely with the immense team at Agile (particularly the post guys!) to make this film happen. What a seriously talented, generous and wonderful bunch of humans they are."&nbsp;

Antony Barkworth-Knight draws upon Tibetan Buddhist teaching for his visual for the Mercury-nominated modern jazz outfit GoGo Penguin.&quot;In the Tibetan tradition, Bardo refers to the journey experienced from the point the body draws it&rsquo;s final breath to the rebirth of your spirit,&quot; Barkworth-Knight explains. &quot;The journey would appear as a dream whereby previous karmic action can produce frightening images. Ultimately it is the process by which previous karma will determine the form of the next Rebirth.&quot;At death there will be various forms of light. A blue light is the light of Buddha &ndash; not the man but the purest form of consciousness.&quot;Using the concept of Bardo as a starting point we wanted to make a music video that works as a powerful aesthetic statement for the band&rsquo;s leading single for the forthcoming album, Humdrum Star.&nbsp;Working with DOP Jamie Kennerley we were keen to create an ethereal piece with elements of loose narrative, abstract images and most of all something human that people could read into their own stories or interpretations.&quot;
