As the story gets darker and the letters he writes&nbsp;get more desperate, we learn the fate of his friend in an emotional twist.Damien Reeves and singer Lucy Spraggan, who co-directed,&nbsp;weave a tale that&#39;s interwoven tightly&nbsp;with the song&#39;s lyrics. Taking cues from British social realist cinema of the past ten years, the viewer is&nbsp;lead on an emotional journey &ndash; yet we barely leave the protagonist&#39;s house. Those&nbsp;hoping for a happy ending here will be disappointed - but that&nbsp;is the nature of the genre.
