Paul Caslin continues his association with Girls Aloud, directing the promo to new single Beautiful 'Cause You Love Me.

Shot in the beautiful Osterely House in West London (which, incidentally, doubles as Wayne Manor in The Dark Knight Rises), the girls smoulder away under Paul's guidance, looking as easy on the eye as ever...

"Having directed DVDs and documentaries for Girls Aloud over the past five years, making a promo seemed like a natural progression," Paul explains. "I wanted to create an intimate, behind-closed-doors feel. They all have their own individual styles so portraying this in their solo scenes was important."

Girls Aloud 'Beautiful 'Cause You Love Me' by Paul Caslin

In the first of two promos for the UK singer, Paul Caslin delivers this provocative, intense and hard-hitting promo for Plan B's Deepest Shame - from the new album Ill Manors - telling the story of abused kid Michelle with sensitivity and drama.
Performances by Ben Drew aka Plan B and Anouska Mond are intercut with clips from the Ill Manors movie - directed by Drew - tracing Michelle's life from sweet, beautiful girl to tragic adult. 
"Having worked with Ben Drew on various projects over the last two years, the promo for Deepest Shame was a chance to take this to the next level," says Paul. "The shoot took place over two days. Day one was spent in Battersea Power Station which offered up some incredible locations and day two was spent at an underwater tank shooting the final scene from the promo. 
"The edit process involved a lot of late night sessions spent throwing different creative ideas into the mix as it was really important that we found the balance of performance and Michelle's story. I'm really happy with the end result and think it tells her story powerfully."
