Sau Ali makes a brilliant music video directing debut with an intense and imaginative visualisation of Lancey Foux and SL's collab with Stay Flee Get Lizzy.&nbsp;Sau wanted to create a visual experience that explored the feeling Simple. Ironically the track is fast, heavy, addictive and angry and he wanted to steer towards that juxtaposition and create an eerie atmosphere - an atmosphere that represents the warped perception of anger displayed through every scene.[imgtoken data:1]Ali and DoP Louis Brennan have looked at obscure references, particularly in the fashion world, for inspiration in their set-ups. Furthermore, the differences in Lancey and SL’s styles - sonically and visually -&nbsp;gave Sau the freedom to play with different directions, then marrying them together to form unique portrayals of both artists.The video also features flashes of the late and great Virgil Abloh. The reason is not just&nbsp;because Lancey raps 'I’m on the phone to Virgil, new Louis Vuitton'. Abloh&nbsp;was also a massive fan of the track prior to its release, and was&nbsp;on FaceTime to Lancey and SL in the studio when they made it . That made the whole mission even more special for Sau, A&amp;R exec Ose Egbejale, and the rest of the team.

Unknown T enters his domain, and risks his safety with his relentless lyrical flow in the face of an impassive, but increasingly impressed&nbsp;Ashley.Then Unknown T is off, back to his ends and his own boys, for the last performance-based section of the video. Gripping stuff indeed. &nbsp;

Lx directs a gripping promo for Knucks, the first chapter in a trilogy of videos between the director and artist.&nbsp;The video for Leon The Professional - which takes its name from Luc Besson's classic 1994 movie&nbsp;- tells the story&nbsp;of a young hitman making a name for himself, whilst&nbsp;a case is being built against him.Throughout the course of the video we watch time run out for Leon, ultimately leading to a bloody confrontation with the officer tracking him.The enigmatic vignettes feature a blend of fiction and documentary aesthetics, which lend&nbsp;a sense of realism and raw energy to the concept.&nbsp;The chase scenes create a feeling of unease, balanced with a quick-cut edit that keeps up the tension and excitement throughout.&nbsp;

Lx for Knucks is a dive into his and co-star SL's lives on their respective London estates, told partly in split-screen.In each case, Knucks and SL's journeys through their homeground mirror each other, with Lx matching&nbsp;the fast flow of their performances through the motion of the camera&nbsp;and a superb edit, together with the split-screen device.Lx also introduces a narrative aspect to the performance, and with his trademark use of stills and titles, this adds to another level to proceedings. It takes you right to the heart of the action.

The Trash Factory - aka James Arden - buries White Lies singer Harry McVeigh&nbsp;in sand, in the promo for As I Try Not To Fall.Sitting in the middle of a custom-made room, we see the artist surrounded by off-kilter decor and furniture, whilst a steady stream of sand pours onto his head.Against the clock, Veigh&nbsp;initially seems to accept his fate, embracing the situation he finds himself in, before taking back control and rising above the mountain he was trapped by.Immediately arresting and striking to watch, Arden experiments with various references and iconography, whilst using a metaphorical ticking clock to up the ante throughout.[imgtoken data:1]

Jack Willoughby directs a second promo for James TW, this time for the heartfelt Hopeless Romantics.&nbsp;Opening on a dark road in the middle of the night, an ambulance pulls up to the artist's side, with all signs pointing to some kind of tragic disaster...[imgtoken data:1]But things aren't all they seem, when one paramedic returns from the vehicle with a fancy change of clothes for James. They dress him up and then they send him on his way, looking more slick than they found him.&nbsp;It's another wardrobe change-focused concept for the director and the artist, following their&nbsp;collaboration earlier this year on the <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2021/04/19/james-tw-butterflies-jack-willoughby/70448" target="_blank">Butterflies video</a> - and one that will linger in the mind long after watching.&nbsp;
