A fantastical beast&nbsp;is on the run in Jess Kohl's offbeat promo for Heartbreaker - and it's up to Birdy to find and take care of him.The artist is shown cleaning tables at a&nbsp;cafe&nbsp;under the watchful eye of the owner, and it isn't long until a news alert pops up on the TV screen that mentions the beast. That night, the creature visits Birdy at her house, and she takes it upon herself to protect him, right until a twist at the end.&nbsp;The anachronistic aesthetic - which blends 90s public access TV clips and 70s art direction - gives the video an unearthly vibe, which is elevated by brilliant creature effects and an intriguing&nbsp;narrative that doesn't end quite the way you expect it to.&nbsp;

Iconic pop video director Diane Martel joins forces with Franz Ferdinand frontman Alex Kapranos&nbsp;and Ben Cole to create the video for Billy Goodbye - taken from the Scottish rock band's forthcoming Greatest Hits album.&nbsp;The black and white concept feels&nbsp;experimental and evocative of early music videos, focusing on a group of characters who descend into a riotous party, full of bottle smashing, karaoke singalongs and melodramatic facial expressions.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]Glitchy performance setups, mixed formats&nbsp;and spliced cutaways add a textural element to the concept, aesthetically feeling very much like&nbsp;home-movie segments.The randomness of the content and iconography in several of these scenes also elevates the absurdist nature of the piece.&nbsp;

Fred Rowson reunites with Olly Alexander and Years &amp; Years in a thoroughly joyful new video for single Starstruck - choreographed by Sherrie Silver.It's the band's first release since Alexander’s breakthrough acting role&nbsp;in Russell T Davies’s TV drama&nbsp;It’s A Sin, and marks the return of Rowson to music video after a busy year making commercials and hunkering down to write his first feature film. Forget the fact that Robyn&#39;s hit album Body Talk Pt. 2&nbsp;was released three years ago. Some videos are just worth waiting for. Like one where Robyn and Snoop Dogg swap genders, strike up a motley friendship in London, practice dance moves in a teenage bedroom, tend a questionable botanical greenhouse, and ride or die together in a bright red,&nbsp;old-school Volvo.This has to be one of the better examples of late-night, inebriated &#39;hey wouldn&#39;t it be awesome if we shot a video about&hellip;&#39; conversations actually turning into a bizarrely great video. Which is exactly how the idea came about, between Robyn, director and long-time collaborator Decida and one of their friends, who would go on to play Snoop.Decida&#39;s snappy pop style really comes through in every scene, shaking up signature choreography with vivid art direction to create a parallel universe where it totally makes sense that Robyn would be a rambunctious blonde teenage boy hanging out with a 20-something Swedish female Snoop Dogg.Robyn explains how the video came about:&nbsp;&quot;Decida came along for a part of the European tour I was doing, we had dinner, drinks and laughs with Decida&#39;s friend Pernilla and we were talking about how much Pernilla looks like Snoop. It was there and then that Decida and I decided to pursue our idea of making a video for U Should Know Better&nbsp;where Snoop and I switch gender. All we needed to do was to find a &#39;little Robyn&#39;. A&nbsp;year later in London, we did.&quot;
