Stink London has announced the signing of&nbsp;visual artist and mixed-media director Guy Gooch to its Stink Rising roster of talent.&nbsp;Gooch's film work includes music videos for Wunderhorse, Sound Of Fractures, and a series of visually imaginative videos for up and coming alt-pop artist Ray Laurél, most recently for the tracks U Said! (above) and My Love - both produced through Stink.&nbsp;His videos show how he works&nbsp;comfortably across mediums and creates multi-dimensional visual worlds through performance, choreography, animation, design and in-camera trickery, creating work that&nbsp;reflects contemporary youth culture and urban living.[imgtoken data:1]In addition to&nbsp;cutting his teeth creating promos, Gooch (above) has also worked as a photographer for various editorial publications, including&nbsp;The Line of Best Fit,&nbsp;resulting in a number of musical creative collaborations and expanded his visual language. He is also a self-taught animator and strives to continue embedding new creative styles and techniques into his work.&nbsp;Stink Rising’s promo offering will be bolstered with the addition of Gooch to the roster - which also features George Jaques, Giordano Maestrelli, Loose, MrMr and Wesley Joseph.&nbsp;Dom Mckiernan, Stink's Head of Music Videos,&nbsp;says: “I can’t wait to make more projects with Guy Gooch. Guy Gooch joins Stink Rising roster for global representation

Guy Gooch directs his second video for&nbsp;Ray Laurél, following the impressive <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2022/08/04/ray-laur%C3%A9l-unconditional-guy-gooch-ray-laur%C3%A9l/77718" target="_blank">Unconditional</a>, and a much eerier affair, for Charles Jeffrey.Exploring&nbsp;the chase between man and mystery, the video is composed of thermal camera shots and various animation techniques, encapsulated in a grungy, textural aesthetic.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]The enigmatic vignettes feel part-X-Files, part post-apocalypse, with the hint of a bigger mystery that is happening just off-screen.&nbsp;Lo-fi yet highly watchable, the spooky presence of Laurél, whose&nbsp;performance is unhinged and primal, adds to the sense of surreality in the promo.

Guy Gooch and&nbsp;Ray Laurél co-direct a dynamic mixed-media&nbsp;promo for Unconditional, shot in a surprising location.&nbsp;This is a performance video where&nbsp;Laurél reflects upon relationships and heartbreak,&nbsp;with just his guitar as company - and he happens to be in the central reservation of a&nbsp;very busy London dual carriageway.&nbsp;A number of visual techniques are introduced - animation overlays start to flicker on-screen, and the directors&nbsp;experiment&nbsp;with shutter speed, cutout shapes, and time-lapse. The video extends&nbsp;from day to night - and never leaves that one spot in the middle of the road.&nbsp;&nbsp;There is a really creditable amount of creativity involved in the efforts of Gooch and Laurél in making this. And we hear that they survived the experience...

Guy Gooch directs an absorbing&nbsp;doc-style promo for Wunderhorse.&nbsp;The multiformat visual for 17 consists of a collection of vignettes exploring the lives of a group of teenagers in London.&nbsp;&nbsp;Formed of various media&nbsp;-&nbsp;including photographs, animations&nbsp;and super8 film - the video has a wonderfully abstract, lo-fi vibe, which leans into the rough and ready soundscapes in the track.&nbsp;The visuals feel&nbsp;on-trend yet distinctive,&nbsp;and the perpetual introduction of new footage keeps the concept fresh throughout.&nbsp;
