With the legendary Nile Rodgers fronting&nbsp;the first Chic album since 1992, Giorgio Testi has worked with VFX house Dizzy Zebra to make the video for Sober - featuring Craig David and Stefflon Don.Set in Abbey Road Studios, Nile operates a UI interface that harnesses the combined forces of music and science, enabling him to fuse various elements in order to create a song.Dizzy Zebra designed and brought to life the UI, as well as integrating an array of VFX throughout the rest of the video to tie the two worlds together and heighten the &#39;Studio 54&#39; feel of the live action setting.

Taking isolated multitrack segments from the Killers' track Runaways and focusing in turn on each member of the band - intercut with cinematic shots of their native Nevada - Giorgio Testi delivers a series of four teasers for the Las Vegas rockers' fourth studio album Battle Born. 
"The idea was to create four separate short films that could be edited together to give a quick glimpse of the Killers comeback," says Giorgio about the project.
"The band came back together in the studio after a four year hiatus during which each band member embarked on solo projects. So my idea was to follow them individually - in and outside of their Battle Born Studios - and finish the film with a climactic performance from the reunited band."

For the US release of Are You Ready, Richard Ashcroft and Big Life Management commissioned Giorgio Testi for the promo - to be created out of live footage from a show at Shepherd's Bush Empire.
"The idea was to make it very cinematic whist keeping its live vibe," says Giorgio. "So I went for loads of slow motion shots, dolly tracks on stage, film grain, and darkness. I tried to keep the edit pace very slow and classic, using the majority of shots coming from camera angles close to the artists, to make this performance very intimate.
"We decided to apply an extreme crop on the image and use some split screen here and there, inspired by the timeless live performance by The Who at Woodstock."

Following the theatrical release of No Distance Left To Run, a unique Blur double has just been released on DVD: No Distance Left To Run, the documentary of the history of the band, directed by thirtytwo, plus the video record of their spectacular live concert at Hyde Park last summer, directed by Giorgio Testi - both produced through Pulse Films.
No Distance Left To Run sees the four original members of Blur together for their 2009 rehearsals and acclaimed summer tour. Featuring previously unseen archive material alongside revealing new interviews and reportage, it recounts the highs and lows of a very British band - from small gigs at Colchester and Goldsmiths, to their headline return at Glastonbury and Hyde Park. thirtytwo's compelling film is the story of an English band, and a portrait of enduring friendship and resolution.

Giorgio Testi directed Blur's live performance at their spectacular July 2009 Hyde Park Show. These huge comeback gigs were definitely one of the highlights of the music calendar last year, captured with an 18-camera set-up that required careful preparation and orchestration by Giorgio and the Pulse team. It offers an intimate view of the band's performance whilst also capturing the scale of the occasion.
