&nbsp;Jean-Vital Joliat directs a heartrending portrait of dementia in his promo for DE.VILLE.&nbsp;In the video for Water, a woman is shown looking after her husband with a range of day-to-day tasks, when he suddenly has a moment of lucidity.&nbsp;"I wanted to deal with the theme of dementia in a frontal and poetic way that brought me as close as possible to the documentary style," says Joliat. "The music sung in Arabic is a real poem and sounds like a tribute."The minimalist staging and cinematography allows the performances to breathe, exploring the intimate nature of their relationship and the sacrifices that are made in the name of love. Rich textures and a focus on bathing and water in general reflect the title of the track, whilst alluding to the fluid nature of our bodies and minds.&nbsp;

A young girl takes her first step from childhood into adulthood, in&nbsp;Vincent René-Lortie's affecting promo for Simon Leoza.&nbsp;The video for&nbsp;La Nuée opens with a series of static shots documenting the broken home the family live in, and swiftly jumps into a simple yet engaging narrative.&nbsp;Deciding to flee her abusive father,&nbsp;the girl -&nbsp;played by&nbsp;Eve Dupuis - traverses a seemingly endless landscape with her newborn sister in tow. When her father finds and confronts her, he is faced with an unexpected challenge that makes him rethink every decision that has lead to that moment.&nbsp;Beautifully captured by DoP&nbsp;Alexandre Nour, the aesthetic blurs the lines between art and reality, feeling incredibly authentic whilst allowing the creative to touch upon fantastical, otherworldly elements."With this concept, I attempted to explore the very unique emotion of becoming responsible for your newborn sibling when you yourself are a child," explains René-Lortie, who co-directed the UKMVA-winning video for <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2019/12/16/sheenah-ko-wrap-me-vincent-ren%C3%A9-lortie-brittney-canda/62435" target="_blank">Sheenah Ko's Wrap Me Up</a>.&nbsp;"I needed to frame this moment in time in a very singular and poetic way, letting the music and theme breathe simplistically while allowing us to keep touch with the fantastical magic of a young mind."&nbsp;

A support group in a community hall is transformed into a stunning frenzy&nbsp;of movement in&nbsp;Vincent René-Lortie and Brittney Canda's video for Sheenah Ko.&nbsp;In the community hall, a diverse group of people have gathered in search of an intangible and ethereal sense of meaning. Sheenah Ko is on the podium and as she begins to sing, her voice casting a spell on her audience. That begins to have&nbsp;an irresistible physical effect: individuals start to slide to the floor, compelled to move,&nbsp;perform aggressive flips and tricks, and smash through props.Part-fantasy and part-nightmare, René-Lortie and Canda's video for Wrap Me Up is unsettling, gripping and entertaining, packed with great performances from their ensemble cast of dancers.&nbsp;Sheenah Ko is impressive too as the confident leader, her hypnotic movement and facial expressions help establish the&nbsp;believability of the idea - this woman could really make you lose your mind and get all of your darkest secrets and emotions out into the open.&nbsp;
