Floria Sigismondi returns to music videos with a theatrical blockbuster for Sam Smith's chart-topping Unholy,&nbsp;featuring Kim Petras.Shot in London, this eye-popping extravaganza&nbsp;is a musical set-piece packed with flair, pizzazz and sexual energy - with Sam as the charismatic MC of a small army of show-people at&nbsp;The Body Shop, the LGBTQ+ cabaret where lustful dreams come true.&nbsp;With cameos by Gottmik and Violet Chachki from RuPaul's Drag Race,&nbsp;and porn star Paddy O'Brian, the film follows a husband who ducks out on his wife and sneaks off to his favorite sex club cabaret, where he soon finds his guilty pleasures revealed in a very public manner. After discovering her husband’s unfaithful ways, the film concludes with the wife character becoming liberated by her own sexuality, rather than a victim to the scandal.A modern retelling of the spectacle of cabaret, Sigismondi&nbsp;has drawn upon her&nbsp;upbringing for this - she was born to Italian opera singer parents, and grew up amid the theatrical and the avant-garde&nbsp;- and applied her&nbsp;trademark cinematic style previously seen in her award-winning work for the likes of Gucci, Rihanna, David Bowie, and Justin Timberlake.Choreographed by French dance collective (LA)HORDE, who are famed for their ability to develop scenarios and actions that take up radically contemporary themes and questions, the seductive music video is a visual feast led by a diverse and queer cast.With references to French surrealist photographer Claude Cahun and noted corset maker of the late 20th Century, Mr. Pearl, the video’s costume designer Lisa Jarvis created an impressive range of otherworldly looks for the enormous ensemble, who were cast&nbsp;by Hannah Ashby Ward at Lane Casting (an LGBTQ+ owned company) to showcase&nbsp;real, diverse and unapologetic bodies.&nbsp;Floria Sigismondi, Director, comments: “I grew up in the world of theatre and opera. This film presented the platform for me to reach deep into that history. It was important to me to bring the theatrics and drama to the film while also giving it a modern feel. We were not interested in creating a period piece. We wanted to create our own world. The theatre and setting gave us the history of cabaret but the costumes broadened that and injected a modern element. For me it's a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and creating that celebration was the most important and joyous experience."Jannie McInnes, Executive Producer at Scheme Engine, adds: “The creative excellence and expression across departments on this project completely blew my mind. Floria sets a high bar, inspires people to bring their most creative selves and she wants everyone to have fun doing it. Taking the references in mind, I wanted to create a world where there was a huge range of visual looks and everyone embraced them. It needed to be otherworldly, opulent, sensual, and a little bit intoxicating to watch with more than a strong twist of naughty.” &nbsp;

In the second part of his sci-fi epic for teen hearthrob HRVY, Matthias Hoene moves the action from neon-lit urban dystopia to the opposite extreme: the futuristic city is now covered by baked-hot drylands.In Nevermind, the sequel to <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2020/02/21/hrvy-me-because-you-matthias-hoene/63429" target="_blank">Hoene's previous&nbsp;HRVY&nbsp;video, for Me Bc of U</a>, HRVY makes his way through the desert landscape to find his only chance of going back home. Ethan Graham recreates the renowned Chancellor Seguier painting in the context of modern views on immigration in the video for Le Grand Remplacement.&nbsp;On horseback with his shoulders covered in a cape, Younès performs to camera whilst several of his friends surround him in period costume, holding large parasols. Theatrical and dramatic, the cast turn to repeat certain phrases to the artist, before snapping back into their positions.&nbsp;The Grand Replacement theory, the inspiration for the name of the track, is something much darker- a conspiracy that the white race and "Western" civilisation are being diluted by non-white immigration and low birth rates. Younès calls out and mocks this theory, as the visual slowly reveals a modern society trapped within this surreal space.The video takes place within the setting of a canvas – nestled in a grand space that embodies the feeling and aesthetic of regal Paris in the late 1800s.  The artist removes himself from the concept to confront believers of this theory, represented by two elderly men viewing the art- their expressions are nervous and guilty, as they realise that their racism and misplaced ideals no longer have a place in modern day France.&nbsp;The video has proved controversial, stirring a small section of far-right viewers on YouTube - the conversation is obviously working, and is an important one to continue having.&nbsp;

Gregory Ohrel gives Oh Wonder the one-shot treatment in the video for Hallelujah. Shot in Kiev, the video is colourful and unique,&nbsp;and features a cast of locals performing complex choreography&nbsp;as they transport the artists through the air and across&nbsp;the landscape.Strong performances aside, the camerawork is ever evolving and helps pull&nbsp;the concept together, allowing us to move from beautiful bird's eye views to intimate closeups seamlessly. The art direction is also inspired, switching from monchromatic to a rainbow burst of colour within seconds, a scattering of bold yellows, purples and pinks set aside the lush greenery.&nbsp;It's a great addition to Oh Wonder's marvellously creative videography, and the perfect introduction to their new music.&nbsp;

Katy Perry and her real life dog Nugget takes us on an emotional and surreal journey surrounding the trials and tribulations of a "Westminster Dog Show" type world in&nbsp;Tanu Muino's video for Small Talk.Super-colourful - as you might expect from a KP video - with a mixture of&nbsp;80s and almost futuristic&nbsp;styling from Phoenix Mellow, the video feels decidely anachronistic&nbsp;and is intriguing from the very start.&nbsp;Perry dives in head first, bringing her unique brand of charm and quirkiness to every facet of the project. And the other stars of the show are a cast of 20 dogs, who were joined by a variety of trainers to get the body language and movement just right.It hits every note we have come to expect from Perry's videography, with the more surreal moments grounded by themes of isolation and sadness. But of course, everything turns out right at the end! This is an exciting step into the mainstream world for&nbsp;Tanu Muino - a talent to look out for in the future.&nbsp;&nbsp;
