Dylan Holmes Williams

Sundance award-winner Dylan Holmes Williams has signed to Stink Films new directing talent roster Stink Rising, to be represented for music videos and commercials in the UK.The young British director (pictured above, left) recently won the&nbsp;Best International Short prize at the 2020&nbsp;Sundance Film Festival for his short film&nbsp;The Devil’s Harmony, which was also a winner at Raindance Festival last year and nominated at the British Independent Film Awards.&nbsp;This follows his acclaimed short films for Stilts (2019) and The House On Deskteeth Street (2017), where he began to establish a reputation for his ‘grounded supernaturalism’ style and darkly comic tone.&nbsp;Holmes Williams has also directed&nbsp;several music videos: two for Artificial Pleasure, including the VOTD winner <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2017/01/17/artificial-pleasure-ill-make-it-worth-your-while-dylan-holmes-williams/45591" target="_blank">I'll Make It Worth Your While</a>, Banfi and Ash.&nbsp;Katie Lambert, executive producer at Stink Rising, says:&nbsp;"It’s great to have a new addition to Stink Rising in the shape of Dylan Holmes Williams. Just when you think you&#39;ve dumped your girlfriend or boyfriend, it turns out they&#39;ve dumped you. That&#39;s the principle behind Dylan Holmes Williams&#39;s video for Banfi&#39;s Never Really Cared, where several biters get well and truly bit, in increasingly imaginative episodes.Banfi bandmembers are always on hand to witness these small catastrophes too - at least until a middle-aged astronaut decides to give&nbsp;Earth itself the big heave-ho. It&#39;s an epic finale to a thoroughly entertaining work.Not quite sure about Dylan&#39;s account on the making of the astronaut&#39;s scenes though.&nbsp;Surely smoking in space isn&#39;t allowed...?
