Director Ryan Andrews&#39; first music video since joining Kode Media late last year is&nbsp;for&nbsp;the LA electro pop quartet&nbsp;Transviolet&#39;s track New Bohemia, and it sees the band&#39;s leading vocalist&nbsp;electrifying&nbsp;the viewer with her piercing blue eyes, and harnessing lightning bolts from a&nbsp;couple of stormy clouds that she&#39;s holding on a leash.Then, joined in the woods&nbsp;by her bandmates as night falls, cracks in their skin expose their core, which is made of a dazzling&nbsp;galaxy,&nbsp;mirroring the night sky as they walk out of the woods towards the city.

Shomi Patwary&#39;s super-stylish video for Mark Ronson&#39;s I Can&#39;t Lose is a suitably retro effort, emphasising Ronson&#39;s qualities as bandleader and ultimate collaborator - and also conjuring an exciting vision of&nbsp;big-city&nbsp;nightlife as it once was - or perhaps never quite was.It features&nbsp;Ronson performing with&nbsp;rising star Keyone Starr on vocals, in an underground bar in Chinatown, NY, where a game of blackjack turns dangerous. The score can only be settled by a furious dance battle (choreographed by Keone Madrid), but the magical trumpet skills of Trombone Shorty can still bring down the house. The cast of gamblers includes Waris Ahluwalia, Daniel Sauli, and Emile Haynie.&quot;Mark is a powerhouse in the music industry,&rdquo; says Shomi. &quot;As we started talking we quickly realized how similar our taste in music and music videos were. It was perfect working with someone I could vibe with easily. In the end, we came up with an era that didn&#39;t really exist by combining the world of Smooth Criminal and Blade Runner.&rdquo;
