Two masked invaders threaten the serenity of Mitski's Victorian garden, in Maegan Houang's&nbsp;otherworldly promo for Stay Soft.&nbsp;The dreamy concept introduces viewers to a luxurious fantasy world of rare plants and topiary, with the focus on a sweet but spooky Venus flytrap, who Mitski routinely feeds with a small drip of her blood.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;When two invaders snatch the artist from the garden, a mysterious string of vignettes depict the struggle to overcome them, transcending into a hazy dance scene and some brilliant silhouetted action scenes - resulting in two sacrifices to feed the&nbsp;flytrap.&nbsp;Wonderfully bizarre and beautiful, it's another fantastic collaboration between&nbsp;Houang and this intriguing artist&nbsp;(they also recently worked together on the video for&nbsp;<a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2021/11/26/mitski-only-heartbreaker-maegan-houang-jeff-desom/73983" target="_blank">The Only Heartbreaker</a>)&nbsp;that feels as editorial-esque as it does abstract.&nbsp;

Hana Vu undergoes a cathartic breakdown at a family event - and no-one notices - in&nbsp;Maegan Houang's promo for Keeper.&nbsp;Evoking an eerie, 90s-esque atmosphere in its enigmatic aesthetic, the video is shot all in one-take, and features haunting interpretive dance and brilliant performance across the board.&nbsp;Vu's performance in particular jumps between impassioned and expressionless, representing the rollercoaster of emotions in her head, and the almost surreal scenario she finds herself in.&nbsp;Absolutely mesmerising work, which feels reminiscent of cult films like&nbsp;Donnie Darko.&nbsp;

Andrew Litten explores the paranoia and danger inherent in a chance encounter in his video for LA rapper Nana, featuring Reason.Essentially Litten sets the scene in very cinematic terms - atmospheric black and white cinematography conjures up a long lineage of American filmmaking - while Nana and Reason tell their different sides of the story. It's all about the connections and codes of behaviour that endows an otherwise prosaic event with the potential to burst into deadly violence.This intriguing and compelling&nbsp;work was co-written by Nana and Andrew Litten, and shot in Nana's hometown of Crenshaw, Los Angeles. "The video for LA Times focuses on a universal truth - fear, and how it can consume your mind if you let it," says Litten.&nbsp;"Our concept is hinged on one small moment of Nana walking past the featured artist, Reason of TDE, in the dark, vacant parking lot of the Crenshaw Mall. As Nana weighs his options of how to get out of this small confrontation, Reason begs the audience to understand his side of the story, and how one can be a victim of circumstance."
