"I had a great conversation with the band about the new album called Hyper Dimensional Expansion Beam. That name was enough of a jumping off point, and I just threw a load of crazy shit at it. It felt right to be weird and post-apocalyptic but also disorientating and fucked up. I wanted to make people feel a bit sick in all honesty. "The music is so crazy yet intricately put together, there is something beautifully chaotic about it which fit very well with some post and camera techniques I’ve been developing for a while."I worked very closely with the immense team at Agile (particularly the post guys!) to make this film happen. The human race's symbiotic relationship with nature is explored in AG Rojas' video for Naeem.&nbsp;Exploring the potential of intergenerational healing, the complex and mysterious video - Bon Iver's first live action visual in seven years- focuses on two sets of family members who each encounter a floating rock in the middle of a road. A Father sets his dying adult son in front of this rock, and a Mother encourages it to open up the next day to provide water to cleanse her baby son.&nbsp;Intentionally ambiguous, Naeem is full of symbolism with reference to religion, femininity and intergenerational trauma, and each viewer's perception of the events will no doubt be informed by their life experience. Touching upon powerful and important ideas, the video meditates on the state of our planet and people, and the cycle of life and death that every living being encounters throughout our shared journeys. The word Naeem can be translated as "happiness" or "comfort", suggesting a return to a peaceful existence, the status quo of our earliest ancestors.&nbsp;The power of change and potential for peace is the message we are encouraged to take away from this project, and the importance of questioning life at every corner to ensure we are acting in a way that is mutually beneficial to both the universe and to ourselves.&nbsp;

The spotlit performance in Ben Thornley&#39;s video for Kill J&nbsp;is punctuated with light drawings and bursts of colour that reflect the bonds between science and religion, according to the Scandinavian artist.&quot;The video is supposed to illustrate the theme of the song, which is when in a crisis, you can find calm and centeredness in the laws of nature in the same way we do in religion,&quot; says Kill J. &quot;Gravity&nbsp;is a prayer. Experiencing the weight of your body being drawn down or into another larger body (in our case, the earth) is a peaceful comfort &ndash; a relief from anxiety. Because no one and nothing is alone. Everything is constantly being pulled, pushed or drawn towards other bodies. The forces of the universe makes sure it.&quot;The light drawings in the video are supposed to illustrate the many similarities between religion and science. &quot;The symmetry in religious ornamentation is not so different from the scientific formulas and illustrations we find in science. And in a way, for me, they often tell the same story. I am not religious in a traditional sense, but I have faith. I believe, that science will save us all in the end and deliver us from evil and heartache.&quot;​

AG Rojas&#39;s ambitious and arguably controversial video for Run The Jewels&#39; Close Your Eyes (And Count To Fuck), featuring Zack de la Rocha from Rage Against The Machine, addresses the controversy over American police brutality towards the African American community by imagining it as a one-on-one conflict&nbsp;between two individuals - the white cop and the black citizen.It&#39;s beautifully crafted, with amazing cinematography by&nbsp;Michael Ragen.&nbsp;It&#39;s also a surprisingly&nbsp;ambiguous exercise, in which the personalities of the actors (Shea Whigham&nbsp;and&nbsp;Keith Stanfield)&nbsp;and the extreme&nbsp;physical demands of their roles - has an inevitable impact on what we&#39;re seeing. It&#39;s not quite a case of mutual hatred, and in fact, there is no &#39;bad guy&#39; here. It may seem to run&nbsp;counter to the fierce polemic for which RTJ&#39;s Killer Mike and El-P (to say nothing of De la Rocha) have become renowned.&nbsp;But they say it gels with their views that&nbsp;it&#39;s the whole system, rather than rogue individuals, that is the problem.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&quot;This video represents the futile and exhausting existence of a purgatory-like law enforcement system,&quot; says Killer Mike&nbsp;&quot;There is no neat solution at the end because there is no neat solution in the real world. &nbsp;However, there is an opportunity for dialogue and to change the way communities are policed in this country. &nbsp;Salutes to AG Rojas for his unique take on the subject matter and to Shea and Keith for giving us their all and bringing it to life.&quot;[imgtoken data:1]

For this new acoustic performance promo of McFly's Room On The Third Floor (originally a Top 5 hit in 2004), Kevin Batchelor's three camera shoot consisted of multi passes and a 2 hour edit. 
Although proving to be a tough cut due to the quick turnaround (for tv show The National Lottery), the end result is both charming and stylish.

"All the layered performance in the video is done for real with a small video projector," says Harry. "There are no effects in any of the shots, even though weirdly we had problems with some of the projections looking too bright - almost as though we'd actually faked them. 
"The around-town shots were all projected from a car. The projector was powered from a silver 1997 Vauxhall Cavalier - the projectionist's vehicle of choice and a joy to spend the evening in..."
