Brain Wash go&nbsp;fully&nbsp;analogue in this trippy clip for Jagwar Ma.Using a combination of &quot;live footage, modular video&nbsp;synths&nbsp;and other witchcraft&quot;, Brain Wash create&nbsp;a hazy, multicoloured psychedelic live visual that seems to be actively tearing itself apart. Pixels stray and distort, band members replicate indefinitely and feedback and video interlacing warp the clips beyond recognition, a swirling mess of colour and experimentation that effectively represents the Jagwar Ma live sound in a visual form.

Boybands just can&#39;t get a moment&#39;s peace these days can they?Mike Baldwin&#39;s clip for The Tide certainly compounds that theory. The band, innocently performing to an empty warehouse, start to notice fans peering round corners at them (a site to which they look suitably weirded-out). Before long though, they realise that they should probably embrace such adoration, and thus the whole thing turns into a lovely party! A fun performance video with a few pretty cool tricks from the drummer thrown in for good measure.

There&#39;s a well-choreographed love triangle brewing in Tough Love&#39;s video by James Partridge.Using minimal props and set dressing in a large outdoor space, Partridge tells a love triangle tale with a twist. Stripping everything down to the bare minimum and letting the action tell the story, a floating camera wraps around the trio as they vie for each other&#39;s attention - letting natural light texture the various setups. Clever cuts keep the fluidity of the video alive until the very end.

Taking cues from British social realist cinema of the past ten years, the viewer is&nbsp;lead on an emotional journey &ndash; yet we barely leave the protagonist&#39;s house. Those&nbsp;hoping for a happy ending here will be disappointed - but that&nbsp;is the nature of the genre.

Sometimes you just have to balance the scales, and with Skunk Anansie&#39;s Without You, with it&#39;s less than cheery subject matter, you can balance that out with sheer ridiculousness. That&#39;s clearly the thought process of Remy Lamont, as he takes the cartoonish accidents and injuries of classic animation and brings them into the real world.Mixing performance with these caricatured vignttes, Remy manages to walk the line between serious and silly very well. The real-world realisations of mishaps from the golden age of cartoon violence -&nbsp;like hoisting up a safe only to drop it on yourself - look great here. And properly painful.&nbsp;
