"We chose the single take approach to let Chinchilla's incredible voice speak for itself, the opera-style backing vocals playing further into the dangerous, do-not-fuck-with-me atmosphere of the track."

Caroline Hajny continues Michael Aldag's story from <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2022/10/24/michael-aldag-bleak-caroline-hajny/78906">the recent video for Bleak</a>, in this poignant promo for Okay.&nbsp;Picking up directly from the end of the first concept - which sees Aldag jump into a swimming pool fully dressed - we see the artist emerge with a new lease on life.&nbsp;Aldag runs&nbsp;through the city, drying off as he heads somewhere unknown, and the aesthetic becomes more vibrant and lively, cutting between the past and present videos to show the contrast.&nbsp;Completing the emotional arc of the story, and offering a brilliant rooftop performance at the end, it's a remarkable piece of work that stands on its own and as part of a whole.&nbsp;

Liv East daydreams during a drive in the countryside, in Caroline Hajny's gently smouldering video for Kitchen."We had been planning this shoot for a long time, but had to push the shoot for various reasons," says Hajny. "So when we finally got around to it, in a matter of hours everything just fell into place: we caught the last summery day of the year, the underwater location came through, we found the perfect 70s kitchen and somehow ended up shooting with this sick vintage Jaguar.<blockquote>We wanted to make it sexy without being too obviously sexy.</blockquote>"The track has such a summery and sensual vibe to it that we really wanted to embrace. I&nbsp;guess make it sexy without being too obviously sexy was our motto for this one."The video is set around Liv's steamy daydream on long drive during a hot summer's day - Michael, Liv and I have worked together quite a few times so we went into the shoot with an overall concept and let it unfold on the day."&nbsp;&nbsp;

Caroline Hajny's promo of Maison Bent's AW21 collection, premiering during London Fashion Week, features Leah Weller - a Londoner of St Lucian and English heritage - performing her fourth single&nbsp;Strangers.Maison Bent celebrates&nbsp;Caribbean style with the new collection, echoing the working class fashions of Generation Windrush - a direction that was inspired by Bent's conversations with her grandfather about life for Black people in London in the 1960s.Caroline Hajny approaches the film visuals using vivid colour schemes to contrast with the neutral hues of the collection. A distinctive fish-eye lens creates a vintage universe of bold and exaggerated optics, with Weller's performance intercut with the presentation of the collection.

Caroline Hajny directs a quite literally introspective promo for Liv East, delving into the artist's psyche with distorted abandon.&nbsp;The video for Demonz pays homage to the vivid aesthetic of Giallo films, focusing on bold primary colours whilst experimenting with the texture and format of 16mm film.&nbsp;Anchored by a haunting performance and a similarly ethereal soundtrack, the video takes viewers on a transcendent journey of the mind - albeit, a hyper-stylised version of events.&nbsp;"Liv had a really strong idea about where she wanted to go with the visuals for Demonz," explains Hajny. "To really hone in on the idea of entering Liv’s mind we decided to experiment with a lot of in camera effects and really push the format of 16mm."Working with Michael [Hobdell, DoP]&nbsp;was amazing. He’s never afraid of trying things out, so we ended up playing around with different kinds of distortions to achieve the look to represent Liv’s state of mind in the demon world."

Directing duo THE REST have signed to Pulse Films for global representation, the announcement being timed to coincide with the release of their video for London rapper slowthai, who rises from his own place of rest, to confront authority and undergo a startling transformation.THE REST is comprised&nbsp;of life-long friends Alex Motlhabane and Lewis Levi, who&nbsp;began making short films together while at university in Northampton, in order to document British youth culture and comment on current social issues.This developed into a working relationship with Kojey Radical, producing some distinctive music videos, and then building a spirited visual identity with the much buzzed-about slowthai. And that leads us&nbsp;to this latest collaboration for Rainbows.The song tackles race and addresses the way ideologies in society encourage negative perceptions of people of colour.
