Will Hooper and Max McLachlan take Bally Gill on a surreal journey into the desert for Raining In LA, the first collaboration between the directors and London soul combo Franc Moody for the upcoming new album.It starts with a lo-fi&nbsp;info-mercial, featuring the band, about the joys of a new tavel agent, FM Travel. Then the gullible working guy played by Gill signs up and takes a suspicious coach journey into the desert to escape his mundane existence. But he finds himself in a very strange, upside world, and facing a very odd fate...Hooper and McLachlan are working&nbsp;for the first time as a directing duo on the project, having created visualisers for each of the five tracks on Into The Ether, the new Franc Moody album. Over several months they produced a slew of info-mercials, teasers and easter eggs which paved the way for the full-length music video for Raining In LA.&nbsp;

Cyprien Clément-Delmas directs a thought-provoking promo for Moderat.&nbsp;Consisting of artists&nbsp;Sascha Ring (Apparat) and Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary (Modeselektor), the track&nbsp;contemplates the relationship between love and independence, lamenting how vulnerable we become when the balance between the two tips too far forward towards the former.The video for Easy Prey was shot across two days in Barcelona, and&nbsp;explores our heavy reliance on technology and its consequential fragilities and interconnectedness. The abstract narrative vignettes create a palpable energy, which bubbles with mystery and intrigue, whilst developing the aforementioned themes in a fresh and&nbsp;exciting way.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]“The idea of the music video is to talk about our dependence on technology,&nbsp;the vulnerability of our ultra-connected societies,"&nbsp;says&nbsp;Clément-Delmas.&nbsp;"We think we are stronger today but we are somehow weaker. Most of the essentials are now based on technology.&nbsp;"This main character represents the essential workers that make all this happen but are also fed up with society, with what we are expected to be. This is a sort of close dystopia I wanted to create in this film. Sophia Ray has directed the music video for Sigrid’s Burning Bridges, in which the Norwegian pop star takes extraordinary steps&nbsp;to break out of the twilight zone of a failed relationship.Stuck in an urban world of hyperreal drabness, with a boy she longer wants to be with, Sigrid breaks the metaphorical barriers she faces by&nbsp;smashing&nbsp;through physical ones - she actually runs through walls; crashing through&nbsp;from city to forest, and back again.It's a&nbsp;great vehicle&nbsp;for Sigrid's spirited personality and her natural athleticism - and arguably her best acting performance in a video. It's also a departure for Sophia Ray, who brings a more Scandi-influenced aesthetic to this than her other, more&nbsp;colourful pop work - there's even a nod to Swedish auteur Roy Andersson in there.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp; &nbsp;The director, her producer Mayling Wong and DoP Carlos Feher filmed the video in Bulgaria with a local crew, including&nbsp;young art director&nbsp;Lyubika Georgieva - who created the walls that Sigrid could really run through..."It was fun to make this video," Sigrid has commented.&nbsp;"It’s a very emotional song so of course we needed a video that reflected that energy with running, dancing, and chasing. It was the first time I did some light acting which was very exciting and definitely something I want to do more."
