Casper Balslev directs a marvellous music film for Danish alt-rock band 802's song&nbsp;My Girl - an absorbing coming-of-age tale, subtitled A Heavy Metal Bedtime Story.Featuring and inspired by the track - which is 802's debut single - we are introduced to&nbsp;a goth teenage girl who feels alone in the world - until&nbsp;she visits a car graveyard and finds an old rusty hearse with a coffin in it. Inside the coffin lies another goth girl, exactly like herself. And then these two young outcasts go on a rampage through the local neighbourhood...Exploring those liminal moments of youth, when the world seems to stop and you feel stuck in limbo between different time periods, the video has a rebellious feeling that bubbles under the surface, threatening to spill over in a riotous sequence of events.&nbsp;Dark, enigmatic and utterly captivating, it's a brilliant video with&nbsp;idiosyncratic characters, cinematic locations and a vibrant, nostalgia-tinged aesthetic.&nbsp;

Bjarke Underbjerg directs a poignant promo for singer-songwriter LÉON’s track, Chasing A Feeling.In a follow-up to Underbjerg's finely wrought video for the Swedish artist's <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2020/06/30/l%C3%A9on-and-it-breaks-my-heart-bjarke-underbjerg/65465" target="_blank">And It Broke My Heart</a>, Lotte Lindgren - aka LÉON - is featured recovering from immense heartbreak, getting through the process with help from two of her best friends. The love interest&nbsp;in question is not revealed until the latter half of the video, when LÉON retraces the moments and memories that led to her current situation,&nbsp;emphasising&nbsp;the act of getting over him rather than the time spent in his company.&nbsp;Beautifully shot by DoP&nbsp;Søren Kahr, the soft and hazy aesthetic is built around low-light situations and intimate, handheld shots, creating a romantic yet yearnful style. The use of the beach location at sunset also adds a sense of drama and cinematic flair, perfectly encapsulating the themes in&nbsp;the track.

And Casper Balslev&#39;s film Summer - Document, captures the very essence of the season, as it happened for the youth of Denmark in the long hot summer of 2018, with original music from Simon Littaur providing the soundtrack.From teens swimming at the lake, mosh-diving metal fans at a festival, boys and girls on motorbikes, friends at the fairground, Balslev focusses on the faces, the sights and sounds of suburbia and the countryside.Inspired by old travelogue and newsreel films from the 1940s and &#39;50s, this is his document of the time, shot all over Denmark last summer, and as such Balslev&nbsp;has created something very special from the everyday.

Anders Malmberg creates a sensual and erotic world of youthful sexual discovery&nbsp;for Danish band Lightwave Empire&#39;s Pleasure And Pain, and an unabashed celebration of the body beautiful, with fine photography by DoP Linda Wassberg.&nbsp;&quot;The video is an exploration of different borderlands,&quot; says Malmberg.&nbsp;&quot;As the title suggests, the borderline between pain and pleasure, but also the borderland between sensuality and sexuality, as well as humor and melancholy. The ambition was to create a warm and positive video, a &#39;seize&nbsp;the day&#39; atmosphere, a sense of freedom, flow and optimism, but with an existential depth, and a sense of doubt built into the joyful and hedonistic feeling.&quot;

Taken from Mads Damsgaard Kristiansen aka Reptile Youth&rsquo;s latest EP Away, Arab Spring Break Part 1 &amp; 2 is an extended track which has&nbsp;lended itself perfectly to what is effectively a lovely, pastel-washed&nbsp;short film&nbsp;by&nbsp;Daniel Kragh-Jacobsen.&nbsp;Captivating and bittersweet, the sensitivity&nbsp;Kragh-Jacobsen has with his characters&nbsp;results&nbsp;in an&nbsp;inspired,&nbsp;true-to-life&nbsp;piece of work.&nbsp;&ldquo;I wanted to portray relationships,&quot; the director told Clash Music. &quot;But this story is not only about relationships between lovers, it&rsquo;s also about friendship. To me the dynamic in relationships is a very fragile thing, and it&rsquo;s so interesting that it can change from positive to negative in a split second. And it&rsquo;s fascinating that we can&rsquo;t control it. I don&rsquo;t have an answer to what is good and bad when you&rsquo;re in a relationship. I simply wanted to try and portray feelings that I have experienced, and I believe others have as well.&rdquo;
