Cristiana Miranda's very sensual video for Eddi Front's Gigantic was shot on black &amp; white Kodak S16mm film stock at different frame rates (between 6fps and 50fps) to create an other-worldly presence of the singer. 
Shot in London at The Asylum and along the beautiful Cornish coastline, it was cut at Work Post, then scanned and graded at MPC. Beautiful - and in its own way, pretty damn sexy...
"I accidentally heard this track playing in the office and i instantly felt i had to work with Eddi," explains Cristiana. "I was so inspired by the lyrics and her voice, I felt there was something very raw, tragic, a very deep pain that is so palpable. But there is absolute beauty in this melancholic state. I wanted to shoot a music video that just made those emotions more palpable and that respected Eddi's identity and her taste. 
"We didn't really have a budget so it had to be a chance for all of us to just shoot something simple - that's why I was so determined to shoot in 16mm black and white. My main inspiration as a theme was wind - shaking wind that sweeps and shapes things as it passes by. But we wanted to shoot in an interior to make it more abstract. 
"We found this amazing location, 'the asylum', that just had the most amazing textures and an immediate feel of decomposition. I then went on my own with DOP Richard Stewart to Cornwall and shot elements of nature. Again I was in search of wind and the sense of a storm. But everything was still. There was absolutely no wind in Cornwall, which ended up being an interesting exercise because we then had to focus on finding other elements in nature that could convey a subtle feeling of discomfort and menace."
