New boyband New Rules are feeling blue&nbsp;in the video for 24 Hours, directed by Jordan Rossi.&nbsp;Fresh off the back of Natasha Bedingfield's Kick It, Rossi is back with another stripped-back, studio- based performance video. One of New Rules' first official videos, 24 Hours&nbsp;tells the story of a break up where you spend all your time with your partner, but afterwards you are left with a huge empty void in your life.&nbsp;Split between a minimalist blue room -&nbsp;where the group lounge around, waiting for time to go by -&nbsp;and a black and white, high contrast performance setup, the wistful yearning and eventual acceptance that come with&nbsp;heartbreak are visually represented through striking&nbsp;art direction and superb performance from the newcomers.&nbsp;

Stripped back and fun, Bedingfield is completely in her element. She is entirely captivating whether she is in front of a wall or a full set, and it's an inspired choice from Rossi to keep things simple and sharp.&nbsp;The end result speaks for itself. Gorgeous cinematography from&nbsp;Tony C. Miller, evocative styling and several stunning glam looks mean that Kick It&nbsp;marks an excellent way&nbsp;to&nbsp;take back the limelight as a performer - having spent the last few years writing for other artists.&nbsp;She is just as spectacular as ever.&nbsp;

Having drawn visual comparisons to the likes of FKA twigs and The Blaze for his&nbsp;video for enigmatic band <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2019/03/22/hour-wasted-ben-strebel/57928" target="_blank">The Hour&#39;s Wasted</a>, Ben Strebel makes a remarkable director&rsquo;s cut for their second single Answer.Following the theme of the last film and the band&rsquo;s own distinction, masks are once again used to examine The Hour&rsquo;s belief in the freedom through anonymity. The setting is more controversial than in the Wasted video, with masked community coming to hospital, where one member is giving birth.Of the release, the band state: &ldquo;This video is about choice, or lack of it. It&rsquo;s about the contrasting opinions in the decisions we make for our children and the lasting effect it might have on them.&rdquo;

We’ve all seen the cheating boyfriend scenario plastered across popular culture. But this time MNEK switches it up for the new generation with the two sides of a cheating relationship on display, in this video he has co-directed with Jordan Rossi.&nbsp;Contrasting the daytime nature of a traditional heterosexual relationship with the dim, blinds-down setting of a motel room, we watch as one trashy boyfriend lies to both his vices in this narrative-based promo. Filled with humour and sass in equal measure the tone is backed up by a visually delicious neon aesthetic.Popping with bursts of pink, blue, red and purple -&nbsp;creating a visceral delight for fans of MNEK and very much in tune with his visual style - both narrative and performance setups are reminiscent of the old school 1990s music videos that inspired both Jordan and MNEK.&nbsp;

A bit like a Tim Pope video for Soft Cell from 1980 in fact...It&#39;s certainly in keeping with <a href="http://www.charlotterutherford.com/" target="_blank">Charlotte&#39;s vibrantly&nbsp;colourful, superhip and camped-up photography</a>.
