After directing their video for Lose Control, Joe Connor followed The Courtneeners out and about on their recent UK tour, which has resulted in this promo for the anthemic Van Der Graff.
Shot at Courteeners&rsquo; recent shows in Leeds and Liverpool, Joe roped in fellow Chief Productions directors Nate Camponi and Kyle Shepard (otherwise known as the ginger-haired hero from Sam Bailey&rsquo;s Francobollo&rsquo;s Basketball video) to shoot it. &ldquo;So it turned into a bit of a family affair which was nice as us directors never get to work together,&rdquo; says Joe.

Harking back to the good old days of the Nineties &ndash; with colour, energy, and one of the Nineties biggest hip-hop stars &ndash; Carly Cussen delivers a &ldquo;girl power&rdquo; style pop video for Little Mix&rsquo;s How Ya Doin&rsquo; &ndash; featuring Missy Elliott.Carly pays homage to those early Destiny&rsquo;s Child and Missy Elliott videos that she watched while growing up &ndash; with big colourful moving sets, in your face performances, and beauty lighting.&ldquo;I wanted to take a different approach to shooting a girl band,&rdquo; says Carly. &ldquo;Replacing &lsquo;sexy&rsquo; with &lsquo;girl power&rsquo; and really showing off the girls individual personalities.&rdquo;
