Andy Morahan and David Austin's film George Michael: The Faith Tour arrives on the big screen today (November 6th) at cinemas across the UK, including at IMAX screens in London and elsewhere this weekend.

The movie captures George Michael at a key moment in his career as a solo artist, during the European leg of his Faith tour in 1988. Filmed on 35mm at Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy over two nights for the purpose of making a music video for one song from the hugely successful Faith album, Andy Morahan rediscovered all the footage shot for the concert a few years ago. That began a project which has led to the full restoration and remastering of the 35mm footage and a longform film of the Paris concerts being created for the first time.

George Michael: The Faith Tour is playing across the UK and Ireland from today. Check out times of screenings for BFI IMAX here and Science+Media Museum IMAX here.
