The first round of judging for most categories at this year's UKMVAs is coming to an end later this week - at 5pm on Thursday, September 3rd. So if they have not already done so, Jury Members are urged to cast their votes in their assigned categories as soon as possible. 

There are just a few more days for the MVAs Jury Members to deliver their votes in the Best Video by music genre, Live Video, Low Budget Video and Technical Achievement categories in the hugely important first round of judging.

Jury Members who have yet to vote are urged to log in to the online judging platform to watch the entries in their assigned category, and vote before the deadline at 5pm next Wednesday. They should view the work, then choose their their favourite videos - usually their top 6 videos - ranking them in order of preference, and then submit their selections via the voting platform. 

"Every vote is important in deciding the work that progresses to the second and final round of judging," says Louise Stevens, event director of the UKMVAs. She adds, "Jury Members who have not visited the judging platform before should use their email address and a ukmva password to log in."

Judging continues beyond the September 3rd deadline on some categories. Judging for the Best Individual and Company categories continues until mid-September and Jury Members will be informed of their assigned categories for those awards via email shortly.

The second round of judging, where panels meet to discuss the shortlists of work selected in the best video and technical achievement categories begins on Tuesday September 8th. And the nominations for the UK Music Video Awards 2026 will be announced at the UKMVAs nominations party, to take place in the last week of September - more details coming soon.

Then the UK Music Video Awards 2026 ceremony and aftershow returns to legendary venue The Roundhouse in Chalk Farm, North London on Wednesday, November 4th. Tickets will go on sale in September. More information about the UKMVAs 26 awards show here.
