Global production and post-production studio The Harbor Picture Company is partnering with the UK Music Video Awards this year, sponsoring one of the UKMVAs most prestigious awards: Best New Director.

It is the first time that Harbor has sponsored Best New Director at the UKMVAs, one of the prized individual awards that are bestowed at the climax of the annual ceremony celebrating creative excellence in music video. The company previously sponsored the Best Colour Grading in a Video award in 2024.

Best New Director is one of 39 awards that are now welcoming entries at the UK Music Video Awards 2026, including prizes for best video by music genre, technical achievement and individual and company categories.

That will be followed by two rounds of judging in most categories, with an announcement of nominations in late September. And the UK Music Video Awards 2026 ceremony will be held at The Roundhouse in London, on Wednesday, November 4th.
