Adam Buxton brings BUG Bowie Special to Lightroom in London
Promonews - 3rd June 2026
A new version of the BUG David Bowie special presented by Adam Buxton is coming to 360 venue Lightroom in Coal Drops Yard in Kings Cross, London, for a four-night stint that starts later this month.
Buxton hosts the BUG Bowie special for the first time at Lightroom on Wednesday June 17th, followed by July 2nd, 3rd and 4th. And for this run, the show has been expanded from a cinema-based show to an experience appropriate to the immersive space.
It marks the return to action of BUG, the event hosted by Buxton that presented music video creativity on the big screen. BUG ran regularly at the BFI Southbank from 2007 to 2021, with shows of new videos and artist and label special events that also ran at other venues around the UK and beyond.
The BUG David Bowie special was presented for the first time at the Bowie Is exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum in 2013. It has gone to be the most successful and longest running of any BUG event. It comes to Lightroom as part of Bowie Nights, the programme of shows running alongside David Bowie: You're Not Alone, the main 360 show currently running at Lightroom.
