ROGUE has announced the arrival of multi award winning director Andrew De Zen, who won two awards at the recent Ciclope Festival for a short film he directed for Amnesty International.

De Zen has directed two videos for Canadian musician Alaskan Tapes, including for Woods & Seas, a personal story about change and growth which picked up nominations at the UK Music Video Awards last year. De Zen's work for brands has also focussed around sensitive issues - including a Super Bowl campaign for Under Armour with swimmer Michael Phelps that spoke to the importance of mental health. 

His Amnesty International film The Robbery picked up two awards at Ciclope this year: Gold for Special Section, Low Budget and Bronze for Direction, Over 120 Seconds. it has also made the Shots shortlist for Ad of the Year: Charity/PSA.

“Amnesty International is easily the most rewarding project I've ever had the pleasure of working on," comments De Zen, "It's a subject that is deeply personal to me, and being able to express a small hint of the collective emotions and anger around the war was something that needed to be said.  To be recognised for this twice at Ciclope is very special."
