Judging in the UK Music Video Awards 2025 is now open, with the online voting platform on the UKMVAs website now live for invited Jury Members to take part in online voting in many categories at this year's UKMVAs.  

As of today (August 13th), first round voting is open in award categories covering Best Video by music genre, Technical Achievement, Best Live Video, Best Low Budget Video and Best Special Visual Project. All Jury Members who have been asked to judge in those categories will have been sent their login details and voting instructions.

Voting in the Individual and Company categories will be open in a few days time. First round voting must end in most categories on Wednesday, September 3rd at 5pm.

Hundreds of professionals from all parts of the music video industry in the UK have been invited be Jury Members at this year's UKMVAs. As with every year, they are asked to watch the entries in their allocated category and in most categories select their six favourites in order (1 to 6).

In categories with a larger number of entries, Jury Members are asked to select their ten favourites in order (1 to 10). In certain categories, due to the high volume of entries Jury Members will be allocated one half of the entries to view and to judge. Their scores will then be combined, before the second round of voting.

In all cases, the voting in the first round determines which entries proceed to the second round of judging, where a 'long shortlist' of the top first round choices are viewed and judged again by invited judging panels. 

With votes for the first round of judging submitted by 5pm on Wednesday September 3rd, those judging panels will then begin for the second and final round of judging a few days later.

All the nominations for the UK Music Video Awards 2025 will be announced in late September - with the ceremony and aftershow party being held for the fourth year at Magazine London, near the O2 Arena in North Greenwich, on Thursday, October 30th 2025.
