Murray Matravers of British band Hard Life has just been announced as the final member of a panel discussing the state of music videos at British Music Video: A Visual Journey, at the Regent St Cinema in central London this Thursday, July 10th.

Just ahead of the release of new Hard Life album Onion, Matravers joins Somesuch director and UKMVA-winner Tajana Tokyo; COMPULSORY Film co-founder and EP Kadri Mahmoud and Dr Michael L. Austin, author of Audiovisual Alterity: Representing Ourselves and Others in Music Videos, for the panel for a discussion moderated by Telegraph entertainment correspondent India McTaggart.

Presented by the University of Westminster, Regent Street Cinema, Seven Seas Films and UK Music Video Awards, the event, starting at 6pm, will also include a curated selection of significant British videos of the past fifty years.
