Director duo Ethan & Tom's short film Keepsakes, a collaboration with Nowness & The V&A, is having a screening at Close-Up Cinema in Shoreditch next Thursday, July 10th, with all proceeds from ticket slaes going to Hackney Night Shelter.

Produced by Partizan, Keepsakes is a short film that journeys through East London, capturing the unique character of the area through the personal objects and collections that hold meaning for the people who live there.

Made entirely through the generosity of our partners, crew and people of East London, the project has already raised money for St Joseph’s Hospice, Bow Food Bank, Rainbow Migration, Palestine Solidarity Campaign, and Sistah Space.

In keeping with this spirit, all proceeds from ticket sales of the July 10th screening will go to Hackney Night Shelter, a local charity that provides emergency accommodation, hot meals, and year round support for people experiencing homelessness. The shelter, which operates 365 nights a year, is run by local volunteers and relies entirely on community support.
