LA PAC has announced that Canadian director Jodeb has joined the Paris-based production company for exclusive representation in France.

The Quebecois director - his full name is Jonathan Desbiens - made his mark through the 2010s with breathtaking music videos for the likes of Jack White, The Weeknd, Imagine Dragons, Halsey and Skrillex, weaving engrossing, action-packed narratives in spectacular locations. His video for Jack White's Corporation went on to earn multiple awards, including an UKMVA award for Best Rock Video International in 2018. 

He has also brought his signature blend of raw emotion and striking visual storytelling to campaigns for Adidas Originals, YSL, and Under Armour. His film A Plentiful Feast for NOWNESS, praised for its poetic simplicity, also garnered critical and festival recognition. 

Jodeb is an entirely self-taught filmmaker who takes a hands-on approach and is deeply involved in post-production. “All that matters to me is that my work isn’t taken too seriously; that it invites people to enter a playful mental dance, challenges them, and ultimately makes them feel something,” he says.

He joins a roster of directing talent at LA PAC in Paris, including French directors AB/CD/CD, Colin Solal Cardo, Quentin Deronzier and Lisa Paclet, plus UK and US directors represented in France, including Bradley & Pablo, David Wilson and Dave Meyers.
