Studio RM is expanding its footprint in the advertising world with the addition of Senior Colourist Jack McGinity and Executive Producer Mike Coley at the company's London studio.
McGinity (above left) joins from Harbor Picture Company, with prior roles at acclaimed studios Cheat, Time Based Arts, and Rushes. Two decades of experience has meant McGinity has played a key role in shaping the visual language of leading commercial campaigns, helping brands stand out in an increasingly competitive landscape. His ability to combine artistic sensibility with technical precision makes him a sought-after collaborator for agencies and filmmakers looking to create work that emotionally resonates, on campaigns for Palace x Gap, Nike, McDonalds, Harry's and more; and on recent music videos for Rema and Hak Baker.
In addition, McGinity’s recent BAFTA-nominated projects include Sienna Miller-backed Marion (2025, OB42/Solab) with directors Joe Weiland and Finn Constantine and DoP Harry Wheeler, Rye Lane (2023, Searchlight) with director Raine Allen-Miller and DoP Olan Collardy, and Such Brave Girls (2023, BBC Three) with director Simon Bird and DoP Ed Tucker.
Joining McGinity is Executive Producer Mike Coley (above right), who worked alongside him at Cheat for many years. Known for his keen ability to build relationships and manage creative projects, Coley’s addition complements Studio RM’s ethos of collaboration and integrity at a time when the company is setting its sights on offering brands and agencies an even greater level of creative excellence across film, print, and digital media.
Founded in 2010, has carved a niche in the industry with its expertise in colour and finishing for motion and stills and is now based in London, New York and Paris. Their growing global roster includes award-winning colourists Myles Bevan and Jamie Noble, and recent signing Jules Wileman.
"Studio RM’s commitment to craftsmanship and collaboration aligns perfectly with how I work," says Jack McGinity. "Their reputation for elevating visuals through colour, across disciplines makes this an exciting opportunity to refine and expand my approach for brands that want to stand out."
Mike Coley adds that he considers Studio RM’s approach to colour and new business as being unique in the UK market. “Their emphasis on quality and artistic integrity resonates deeply with both Jack and me," he comments. "Together, we aim to build meaningful relationships while delivering work of the highest calibre.”
