Tom Boucher has been promoted to the position of Head of Edit at Absolute, completing his rise through the ranks at the company since joining as an edit assistant in 2017.

Having grown into a sought-after talent, working with global names across commercial, short film and music video projects, his appointment follows a year which has seen Boucher work on award-winning projects for global brands such as Mercedes, Moncler and Netflix, as well as collaborations with esteemed directors like Jacopo Cinti, Jack Bowden and Tom Brown.

“I am so thrilled to be made Head of Edit,” says Tom. “Absolute has been my home since I started in the industry, so it’s a really proud moment for me to be leading the department I learnt my craft in. This is such an exciting time for everyone at Absolute, and after an amazing year we’ve lined up some brilliant projects for the new year too, so we’re looking forward to a brilliant year across the edit team.
