The 12th edition of the Brazilian m-v-f- Awards has announced the nominations in 25 categories for both national and international music videos. With some of the awards available for online public voting until this Thursday, January 23rd, the winners will be announced at the award ceremony in Teatro Sérgio Cardoso in São Paulo on January 28th.    

In the international awards section, the Argentine duo Bizarrap x Lismar and their video Subió La Temperatura, directed by Bizarrap and Augustin Sartori, is competing in International Animation and LATAM Music Video. Cassie Marin (U.S), competes with Tanto in Best International Music Video and International Innovation. British legend Depeche Mode's People Are Good, directed by Rich Hall, is nominated for Best International Music Video and International Direction. French act Justice’s Generator, directed by Léa Ceheivi, is nominated for Best International Music Video and Revelation in International Direction.

“The selection for this edition of the m-v-f- awards was incredibly productive and surprising," says Lia Vissotto, founder and general director of m-v-f-. "We followed the year’s releases closely, but looking at the overall quality of the music videos, it’s evident that the creative leap this year was remarkable.

"The quality and quantity of submissions surpassed previous years, showing significant growth. We want to congratulate and thank everyone who submitted their work to the awards and those involved directly or indirectly in this edition.” 

The awards ceremony will take place on January 28 at Teatro Sérgio Cardoso (R. Rui Barbosa, 153 - Bela Vista, São Paulo) at 7 PM.
