The first round of judging in most categories at the UK Music Video Awards 2024 must end soon - at 5pm BST on Monday, September 2nd. 

It is the final few days for the MVAs Jury Members to deliver their votes in their assigned categories in the Best Video by music genre, Live Video, Special Visual Project, and Technical Achievement categories in the first round of judging.

Jury Members who have yet to vote, are urged to log in to the online judging platform to watch the entries in their assigned category, and vote before the deadline at 5pm next Monday. They should view the work, then choose their their favourite videos - usually their top 6 videos - ranking them in order of preference, and then submit their selections via the voting platform. 

Every vote is important in deciding the work that progresses to the second and final round of judging. Jury Members who have not visited the judging platform before should use their email address and a temporary ukmva password to log in.

Judging continues beyond the September 2nd deadline on some categories. Judging for the Best Individual and Company categories must close by 5pm BST on Monday, September 16th. Jury Members will be informed of their assigned categories for those awards via email shortly.

The second round of judging, where panels meet to discuss the shortlists of work selected in the best video and technical achievement categories begins next Thursday, September 5th. And the nominations for the UK Music Video Awards 2024 will be announced at the UKMVAs nominations party, to take place in the last week of September - more details shortly.

Then the UK Music Video Awards 2024 ceremony and aftershow will take place at Magazine London on Thursday, October 24th - tickets go on sale for the event tomorrow, August 30th.
