The UK Music Video Awards has announced that London and Los Angeles-based studio Digital Beauty Work is now on board as a partner at the UKMVAs 2024, sponsoring the prestigious award for Best Editing in a Video for the first time.

Founded by award-winning VFX producer Max Colt in 2018, Digital Beauty Work is a boutique retouching studio, working in video retouching, photo retouching and VFX clean-up. Its speciality is making imperfections perfect – and polishing perfection further – together with product retouching.

With a team of professionals in imagery retouching, the company’s work has featured on numerous high-end pop videos over the past few years, for the likes of Cardi B, Katy Perry, Chris Brown, Paris Hilton and Ariana Grande. Digital Beauty Work’s credits in the past year or so include promos for Dua Lipa, Nicki Minaj, Justin Timberlake and Miley Cyrus.

"Our retouching technique prioritizes the natural and authentic look of everything that we are working on and that's why so many artists and brands trust us with their finishing stage," says Max Colt, founder and senior VFX producer at Digital Beauty Work, adding that he is delighted that Digital Beauty Work is sponsoring the Best Editing category for the first time at the UKMVAs.

Digital Beauty Work have been announced as the latest partner and award sponsor at the UK Music Video Awards as the awards judging period at this year’s UKMVAs gets under way. The online judging platform is now open for the first round of judging for most of the awards, with Jury Members invited to make their selections in their assigned categories between now and the end of August.

After two rounds of judging for most categories, award nominations will be announced in late September. The UK Music Video Awards 2024 ceremony and aftershow party then takes place at Magazine London on Thursday, October 24th.
