Lowkey Films, the London-based film, commercials and content production company, has announced the expansion of its offerings with the launch of The Suite Shop, a new division of creative direction services, developed in response to artists and brands' appetite for comprehensive 360° campaigns.
The Suite Shop is the destination where artists, management, labels and brands can find solutions beyond the single campaign or music video, to access end-to-end creative direction, encompassing ideation, development, production and delivery across bespoke campaigns. The end result is cohesive creative output at every level, across all platforms both in the digital and physical realm.
The launch of the new creative direction arm reinforces Lowkey's commitment to delivering impactful, multi-faceted campaigns in the ever-changing creative landscape.
This development also marks their move towards what Lowkey call FDR - Full Disclosure Representation - evolving from the traditional exclusive representation model and celebrating the creatives they love, with open collaboration. This has enabled them to build strong relationships with some of the most talented creatives currently working, both at home and internationally - allowing them to thrive whilst not feeling restricted by exclusive ties to one organisation.
Jenna Marsh and JP Bonino are examples of Lowkey’s expanded collaborator network on the Creative Direction side. They join existing 2x Cannes Lion Grand Prix-winning BRIGHT NIGHT who also sit on Lowkey’s director roster.
Through creating an entire world or ‘brand’, you can have a much bigger impact on engagement and culture.
Leveraging their expertise in live action production, Lowkey knows how to craft engaging visual content that resonates with today’s audiences. Utilising their existing network of collaborators they will then extend the project into the digital, physical and experiential spaces.
Lowkey's expanded creative direction services include delivering a full campaign ‘Brand Bible’ as the very first output. This will establish the narrative and identity of the project and serve as the master driver of the campaign.
Lowkey will facilitate all creative direction, project management and output delivery under one roof. Photography and videography, branding and design, content capture and digital assets will all be run by Lowkey. They can also bring the campaign directly to the audience through experiential marketing so artists can create memorable brand experiences that drive engagement and foster long-term fan connections all as a seamless extension of their project identity.
“This development comes as a response to industry-wide conversations, particularly in the music space, where the traditional singular campaign asset is becoming more difficult to justify," says Tara Bartlett, Lowkey's Head of Special Projects. "Through creating an entire world or ‘brand’, you can have a much bigger impact on engagement and culture.
“We’re excited to not only be able to provide our clients with the multifaceted campaigns that the landscape demands, but also to give our creatives a playground to push their ideas so much further, collaborating with some of the best in the business to expand the curated worlds into new mediums.”
Lowkey is a dynamic and conscientious film, commercials and content production company heading for B Corp status - and has just wrapped on their most recent narrative feature film, Salvable.
"Lowkey has proven success within the music and commercial space, and this new offering combines the two disciplines with our deep rooted passion for story-telling," says Jamie Gamache, Co-Founder at Lowkey. "We feel that the traditional model within the music video space is serving artists and creatives less and less. We’re committed to utilising this new direction to craft exciting campaigns that drive culture again and again, bringing value to artists and audiences alike."
