The UK Music Video Awards has announced that the host of this year’s awards show - the biggest night of the year for music videos - will be singer, DJ and presenter Ana Matronic.

Ana will host UKMVAs 2023 at Magazine, London on Thursday, October 26th, where the best work in music videos in the past year in the UK and beyond will be celebrated and more than 30 awards handed out on the night.

Ana rose to fame in the Noughties as the co-lead singer of New York glam-pop phenomenon Scissor Sisters. Since then Ana has brought her talents to radio and TV, becoming a fixture on BBC Radio 2 for a decade and hosting her own show Dance Devotion from 2017-2022. She has covered the Eurovision semi-finals on television and radio, been a guest advisor on The Voice UK and presented informational programmes on music and pop culture such as Disco and Beyond, Viva La Diva and Get Rich or Try Dying.

Ana told Promonews that she is delighted to be hosting the UK Music Video Awards 2023 on October 26th. "It's going to be a blast hosting this year's UKMVAs and honouring the creativity and talent that's turned sound into such dazzling vision," she says.
