Promonews - 18th July 2023
For the second year in succession, Kodak has come on board as a partner of the UK Music Video Awards, to sponsor the prestigious award of Best Production Company at the UK Music Video Awards 2023.
Long renowned as the leading name in film in terms of production and processing for both photography and motion picture, Kodak now offers products across the motion picture film workflow from capture to post, and has emerged as a valued supplier of film stock and services to the current generation of music video makers. The advanced technology of Kodak Vision3 motion picture film provides the highest degree of image quality and creative flexibility, while shooting on film has also proven to drive efficiency.
Sam Clark Director Sales, Motion Picture and Entertainment, Kodak, says: “We’re excited to announce our continued sponsorship of the UKMVA Best Production Company. At Kodak we’re passionate about supporting the industry’s outstanding talent and their creative choices and delighted to see that so many productions continue to choose to shoot on Super 8, 16mm, 35mm and 65mm film.”
The Best Production Company category is one of 36 awards in all at this year's UKMVAs, including prizes for best video by music genre, technical achievement and individual categories.
The full range of categories can be found at the UKMVA website here. More entry info is here. Entries to the awards are now being accepted on the website, here and here. The deadline for entries is in just over two weeks time - at midnight (BST) on Wednesday, 2nd August.
That will be followed by two rounds of judging in most categories, with an announcement of nominations in late September. And the UK Music Video Awards 2023 ceremony will return to Magazine London, near the O2 Arena in London, on Thursday, October 26th.
