London-based director duo Furmann + Vasso - the team behind high-profile new videos for Jess Glynne and Ashnikko - have joined OB for representation for music videos and commercials.

Furmann + Vasso are Furmaan Ahmed and Vasso Vu, who first connected in 2016 through their passion for mysticism, mythology and folk culture. Furmaan comes from a Pakistani-Scottish heritage and was brought up with Sufi/Celtic traditions, while Vasso grew up in Eastern European Slavic culture and was brought up Orthodox Christian. They found similarities in their backgrounds as outsiders, with their own spirituality and heritage playing a massive part in their collaborative friendship and personal lives.  

They have already made an impressive start at OB with a brace of music videos including a trans-dimensional fable for Ashnikko’s Weedkiller -  with whom Vasso has a longstanding relationship with as her creative director - and Jess Glynne’s Silly Me.

"Our goal is to offer a new alternative way of thinking about the world," state Furmann + Vasso. "To propose a more playful and forward-thinking way of image and video making and to, hopefully, forge moments that make an imprint on culture."
