Myles Bevan joins Studio RM as Senior Colourist

Studio RM have announced that award-winning colourist Myles Bevan has joined the company as Senior Colourist.

Myles joins Studio RM having worked at Time Based Arts for the last seven years, where he developed his craft under the mentorship of Simone Grattarola. In that time, he has cultivated a diverse portfolio across fashion, advertising and music videos, where he has become one of the most popular colourists working in London.

His extensive portfolio of work in music videos in the past year or so includes a trilogy of videos for Rina Sawayama directed by Ali Kurr, videos by Samuel Douek for Little Mix and Yonaka, Elliott Gonzo-directed videos for Meduza and Enter Shikari, Frank Lebon's UKMVA-winning video for Pretty Sick's Human Condition, and many more.

His fashion film work includes campaigns for for Louis Vuitton, Kenzo, Levi’s, and Gucci. He has worked with directors Ian Pons Jewell, Isaac Lock and Phoebe Arnstein, and on commercials for Virgin Atlantic, Quickbooks, Coca-Cola and TikTok, among others. In 2021, Myles was awarded Best New Colourist at the Kinsale Sharks.

An upbeat and positive presence, Myles is known for creating a friendly and easy-going experience in his grading sessions. He is joining the London office of Studio RM, the post production studio that has gained a reputation for its artistic, high-end approach to to colour grading and finishing for for film, print, and digital, with teams in both London and New York.

Studio RM Founding Director Robert Moore says that Myles Bevan will play a key role in the studio’s continued commercial global growth.

“We have been watching and admiring Myles for years,” says Moore. “His portfolio has grown to include a strong mix of work with talented directors and DOPs. Myles is no doubt a great talent - his enthusiasm and energy for grading will be a valuable asset to Studio RM as we continue to grow and strengthen our colour department.” 

Myles Bevan adds: “I’m incredibly excited to join the talented roster at Studio RM, particularly alongside colourist Jamie Noble whose work I’ve admired for many years. My creativity has always been greatly informed by fashion and music and I’m looking forward to continuing to develop through RM’s global client base across both fields.”
