Agile Films have announced two new signings to their music video directors roster - Aliyah Otchere and Jesse May Fisher.

Aliyah Otchere is a multidisciplinary director and photographer. As a British creative who was raised in Turkey, she discovered a new perspective in documenting the music scene when she returned to London. The 22 year old has already directed high-profile artists such as Ravyn Lenae, Rachel Chinouriri, Tora-i and Olivia Dean, drawing inspiration from the display of human interactions through abstract directorial work that explores visual metaphors. 

“It’s an absolute honor to be able to consider myself a part of the Agile family," says Otchere. "Sana [Khan, executive producer] and Precious [Mahaga] have been an integral part of my growth as a director and continue to be huge anchors in my journey through. I not only dream of the work we’ll create but am extremely excited to continue building our relationship and look forward to our journey together.”

Jesse May Fisher is a London-based director, photographer and artist. Her work explores themes such as the body, sensuality and the subconscious. Often utilising elemental and corporeal motifs, her moving images operate within a threshold of softness and darkness. She has directed music videos for artists including Anaiis and Etta Marcus and has been exhibited at various galleries including the Saatchi Gallery.

“Considering the strength of Agile’s work and reputation, being asked to join their roster was a privilege and an easy call to make,” says May Fisher. “Precious and Sana understand my motivations and where I want to take my work and have already given me invaluable insight and advice. I know Agile will be able to provide the support and nurturing I need to develop as a director and I am excited to elevate my work alongside them.”
