While first round voting on many of the categories at this year's UK Music Video Awards has started, having opened in mid-August, the UKMVAs have now opened voting for the remaining Individual and Company categories. This is for judging the awards for Best Director, Best New Director, Best Producer, Best Commissioner, Best Agent, Best DoP, and Best Production Company.  

A number of selected Jury Members will find that extra categories have been added to their accounts on the UKMVA judging platform from the Individual and Company section of the awards. These additions will be confirmed in emails from the UKMVA team in the coming days. Voting in the Individual and Company categories must close by 5pm BST, on September 19th. 

Meanwhile, Jury Members have until 5pm BST on Wednesday, September 7th to vote in the first round on most of the categories they have already been allotted, in the Best Video by Music Genre, Live Video and Technical Achievement categories. 

If they have not already begun their judging, Jury Members are advised to do so as soon as possible, so they have enough time to watch all the work in their categories before selecting their choices to advance to the second round of judging - which will begin in the second week of September. 

The UKMVAs message to Jury Members is: we need your votes - and there will be no extensions to these deadlines.
