Films For Ukraine at BAFTA on April 1st and 8th

Films For Ukraine, a new initiative to raise money for humanitarian and aid charities, has announced its first two film screenings, taking place at BAFTA in London on Friday, 1st April, and Friday, 8th April.

Each of the two evenings feature the screening of short films followed by a feature film, plus messages from the Ukranian film community. The team behind the Films for Ukraine initiative consists of Alex Hulsey, Dawn Shadforth, Elly Camisa, Phil Tidy, Thomas James, plus 'friends and family from the film community'. 

The feature being shown at the first event on April 1st is The Earth Is As Blue As An Orange, a 2020 documentary directed and written by Iryna Tsilyk, who won the Directing Award in the World Cinema Documentary category for the film at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.
