Laura Clayton joins Riff Raff as Global Head of Music Video

Laura Clayton has joined Riff Raff Films as the London-based production company's new Global Head of Music Video and Content.

Clayton joins Riff Raff after seven years working 'label-side' in music video production, rising from Music Video Commissioner to Senior Creative Commissioner at Sony Music, before moving to Island Records to head up the Music Video and Content department.

Previously a journalist and costume designer - which lead to her to become part of the Creative Mentor Network - she brings an eye for the creative and knack for the practical to her new role. Alongside overseeing all music video production at the company, this involves discovering and nurturing new directorial talent, and managing the new Riff Raff Mobile roster, a hub of creatives who create content for social media platforms.    

"Ever since we spent a weird weekend up a mountain in Bulgaria, with a serial killer on the loose and Max Siedentopf playing emergency stand-in for Sigrid, Riff Raff have felt like family," says Laura Clayton. "I can’t think of a better team to join for this next stage of my music video journey, and I’m looking forward to working with their brilliant roster of directors."

Riff Raff Films' owner Matthew Fone adds: "Laura fits perfectly into my strategy for Riff Raff. Someone who has the experience to reinvigorate our core DNA of music videos, as well as expanding our social-led Riff Raff mobile suite,
