UK Music Video Awards 2021: CHEAT sponsoring Best Colour Grading In A Video for seventh year

UK Music Video Awards 2021: CHEAT sponsoring Best Colour Grading In A Video for seventh year

Promonews - 14th July 2021

With the deadline for entries to this year's UKMVAs fast approaching, top London grading and finishing studio CHEAT have committed to partnering with the UK Music Video Awards once again, sponsoring Best Colour Grading In A Video at the UKMVAs 2021.

Having sponsored one of the top awards among the UKMVAs' Technical Achievement honours for the past six years, confirmation of CHEAT's continued support of the music video industry's top awards show means that the company will be sponsoring Best Colour Grading In A Video at the UKMVAs for the seventh time.

"The UKMVAs are always a highlight in the CHEAT calendar," CHEAT founder and senior colourist Toby Tomkins. "This year more than ever we feel it's important we celebrate the hard work and creativity that goes into these videos. We are delighted to be a sponsor and to continue supporting the UKMVAS and the community it stands for.

"As we continue to grow we will always stay faithful to our early music video roots, relishing the challenge to deliver powerful work alongside the luminary directors and DOPs that we work with. We would like to wish everyone the best of luck for this year's awards. Let's party!"

Tomkins launched CHEAT in 2014, and has overseen its growth to being a leading name in colour grading and finishing in London, with a global reputation. Working in all forms of moving image media, from music videos and commercials, to features and TV series, CHEAT's roster of colourists use their craft to elevate the visual experience, bringing bold vision with artistic sensitivity to deliver exceptional award winning work.

Tomkins' leads a team of colourists whose work has been recognised at the UKMVAS, MTV Music Video Awards, British Arrows, BAFTA, the Oscars, and more.

Entry is now open to the Best Colour Grading In A Video award, and many other awards, via the UK Music Video Awards website.

The full range of categories to be found at the UKMVA website, and entries to the awards are now being accepted on the website here and here. The deadline for entries is at midnight (BST) on Tuesday, August 3rd.

That will be followed by two rounds of judging in most categories, with an announcement of nominations in late September. And the UK Music Video Awards ceremony will return to the legendary Roundhouse in London on Thursday, November 4th 2021.
