Agile Films have announced the official signing of director Nwaka Okparaeke to their music video roster.

The London-based director has created visuals for a number of cutting edge UK pop artists. She first collaborated with Agile in 2020 on a dreamy, surreal piece for Josie Mann’s Grow, and her body of work including videos for Rachel Chinouriri and Grace Carter.

Okparaeke has a particular interest in exploring unique perspectives, and infuses her work with a euphoric, colourful aesthetic - fusing performance with a notable use of visual effects - to create videos that are distinct and beautiful. She also works as a photographer, frequently collaborating with gal-dem, and shooting covers for artists including Scribz Riley and Demae.

Precious Mahanga, head of music at Agile in London, says: "I’m really excited to have Nwaka join our roster. She's a very talented creator and, as a team we look forward to collaborating with her as she continues explore her aesthetic through moving image."
