The UKMVAs have announced that the UK Music Video Awards 2020 virtual live ceremony next Thursday, November 5th will be hosted by TV and radio presenter and DJ Becca Dudley.

A regular host of the Apple Music 1 List on Apple Music and lead MTV presenter for the past eight years, Becca also runs her own music video platform, DEADLY, featuring Jamaican music and culture. She has also produced a number of music videos, including for Major Lazer & Sean Paul, and Protoje.

"Hosting the UK MVAs 2020 is such a huge honour for me," she says. "Working in the industry for almost a decade, I have seen how much work goes into making videos from so many different roles. So I'm so excited to celebrate all the talent and hard work out there.

"Having produced music videos in the past myself as well as having starred in one or two from world class directors - but I will NEVER tell you which videos!! - I know first hand what goes on behind the scenes, from the conception of a treatment to the final grade. I also created my own video platform celebrating Jamaican music and culture, where I have produced live sessions, docs and interviews with 45+ artists out in Jamaica, sometimes shooting up to 20 acts in just 6 days."

"Coming from a family of musicians, we all play our own instruments and I have one or two singers in the family. From a very young age I would always steal my dad's digital camcorder and make my own videos – I know these will come back to haunt me one day. But I've always understood the power of visual."
