UK Music Video Awards 2020: the last few days for judging in many categories - get voting!
UKMVA Jury Members now have just a few more days to complete their first round judging assignments for this year's UK Music Video Awards.
The deadline for the first round of judging for the Music Genre categories and many of the Technical Achievement categories at this year's UK Music Video Awards 2020 is at midnight (BST) on Monday, September 7th. So MVAs Jury Members, who have been allocated to judge one or more categories, should complete their voting at the earliest opportunity.
The votes of the MVAs jury members should log in to the online judging platform to select six or more of their favourite work in their category. These will determine which videos will go on to the second and final round of judging, where a shorter list of selected work will be screened at judging panels, held over Zoom later in September.
While the deadline for judging is midnight on September 7th for most categories, there are exceptions. First round selections for the Special Video Projects and Music Film categories are due on Thursday September 17th. Deadline for the Individual and Production Company categories is on Monday September 21st. There will be no extensions to these deadlines.
The UKMVAs needs your votes. So if you are an MVAs jury member who has yet to judge their assigned category, please do this as soon as possible, by logging in with the details emailed to you by Louise Stevens at the UK Music Video Awards.
The second round of judging, where panels meet to discuss the shortlists of work selected in the best video and technical achievement categories begins on Wednesday September 16th. Then the nominations for this year's awards will be announced on Tuesday, September 29th - a month before the UKMVAs 20 ceremony, still scheduled to take place at The Roundhouse on October 29th.
